The Cheshire English Single Malt - Second Release

Weetwood Brewery & Distillery's second release of The Cheshire English single malt features English malted barley and has been matured initially in STR American oak quarter casks, followed by a finishing period in European oak barrels. This expression, limited to 2,170 bottles, is presented without added colour or chill filtration. On the nose, one can detect aromas of fresh-cut hay, apple skins, floral honey, and a hint of cinnamon spice. The palate reveals notes of milky tea and biscuits, transitioning into dried apricots with a touch of woody spice. The aftertaste is fruity and sweet.
